Will the Scranton branch survive that?

If there's one show that's both so true to life and so far from reality, it's definitely The Office. The famous mockumentary about the lives of office workers has stolen hearts with its unique script and amazing cast.

The series follows Scranton Regional Manager Michael Scott as he tries to keep up with everything that's going on at his branch. Though it's clear from the first minute of the pilot that he's actually the one doing the most damage.

The characters in the show are all outstanding in their traits. Dwight is the most dedicated salesman, Stanley just hates his job and waits until he can retire, Creed... well, we just don't understand him. And there's Jim, absolutely indifferent when it comes to work.

It’s also important to mention Pam here. Pam is the person who changed several titles while working at the same place. She started out as a receptionist, then went on to be a salesperson, and ended up being an office administrator. Fans loved her in every role she had.

Although recently Reddit came up with a thought, would it be a great idea to have Pam as Scranton branch regional manager? At first, fans of the show shared their concern on that matter.

“She would be heavily disrespected by the staff - pretty much all the women except Erin either hate her or don't respect her and some of the men will just follow suit to fit in. Andy would definitely join the anti-Pam coalition just to fit in, Creed would do the same to avoid looking suspicious” Redditor MichaelScottsWormguy said.

Some of the fans also added that Ryan would never in a million years do anything she asked him to do (well, we all remember the microwave incident).

Pretty soon, the rest of the fans came up with great arguments as to why having Pam as manager would have really worked, at least for a little while.

“I think she would be fine. Ryan didn’t make a single sale and got promoted all the way to corporate. Andy was a terrible salesman and he got promoted to manager too. She’s definitely well liked. She’s also kind of the office mom, so I’m sure she’d be fine”, Redditor Previous_Hotel_1058 said.

Fans also added that she basically ran the office for a long time, as she managed to cover up Michael's incompetence and poor management skills. So Pamager is not such a bad idea after all, huh?
