The Correct Order to Watch All the Fast & Furious Films in 2024
When you stumble upon a franchise that spans more than just a bunch of movies, you may be puzzled about its continuity.
Some are pretty simple: you watch the movies in chronological order. But not in the case of the Fast & Furious franchise: you need to jumble the movies up a bit.
You'd be surprised to learn the origins of the Fast & Furious franchise: it was a small article published in The Vibe magazine in 1998 telling the story of a street racer in New York, and it's exactly what inspired the clash between the traditional tweaked muscle cars that were popular since their inception and smaller, more streamlined Japanese ones.
This clash is represented by the cars Brian O'Connor and Dominic Torreto choose as their main ones in the first movie.
As the story progressed, it morphed from being just mainly focused on the races into full-blown action movies, with lots of fights and guns and worldwide conspiracies shaking the whole planet.
The main difference is that it also features really cool cars and really cool tricks that utilize these cars. Thankfully, cars still are the main focus of the franchise, with the exception of the Hobbs & Shaw spin-off.
