Who knew this gross scene could get any weirder.

Warning: the following article contains spoilers for 'The Boys ' season 3 episode 1

CGI has truly expanded the borders of cinema magic, but sometimes you might want to opt for practical effects for the magic to be more realistic… or for something gross to get even more disturbing.

It turns out this was the case with 'The Boys' and the already notorious scene where Termite – an Ant-Man-esque superhero in Amazon's show – shrinked himself in order to get "inside" of his boyfriend at a house party. And by "inside" we mean that Termite enters his lover's genitalia to continue the playtime from there.

Those who watched the show remember that the fun idea for a love game ended up with a gruesome bloodbath. Well, now you might also love to know that the crew actually built the "inside" from scratch.

The show's executive producer Erik Kripke told EW that the scene involved an actual "11-foot-high, 30-foot-long penis built at great expense." It was even designed in a special way to fit the TV standards – as flexible as they can be when it comes to 'The Boys'.

But did fans actually want to know more about the scene?

Some people were actually trying to forget they ever saw that. And here goes Kripke, effectively making it worse.

"lol this scene gave me the actual creeps. Why must I be reminded?" – @AquaFox84.

However, certain fans loved the new detail.

"As they should because they are insane and I love it", – @GodBrunk.

'The Boys' season 3 premiered on June 3, and the first three episodes were already full of gross scenes that set the bar quite high for the rest of the season. The eighth and final episode is set to air on July 8.
