It would make so much more sense!

One of the things that made The Big Bang Theory so beloved by so many very different fans is the way the characters of the show have been written. Though they had some similarities, like working in science and having a lack of experience when it came to socializing outside of their circle, they were different, and each of them relatable in their own way.

Of course, the majority of people were intended to relate the most to Penny, who was a vessel, providing the outsider’s look within the group. However, the rest of the cast still receives a lot of praise from the viewers as well. There is only one thing the fans would’ve done differently, if they had the creative control.

Does Raj Get Married in The Big Bang Theory?

Raj Koothrappali and Howard Wolowitz are two of the most talked about, loved, and controversial nerd friends ever.

Though they start out as complete opposites, with Howard obsessed with all things sexual and Raj afraid to talk to a real woman, their storylines change dramatically over the course of the show's 12 seasons.

And now, looking back at their character development arcs, fans aren't sure they enjoy these changes as much as they thought they did. In fact, it would make much more sense to switch stories altogether.

Expressing their unpopular opinion on the show, Redditor Sitcom_kid suggested that Raj should have been the one to end up married, and Howard would most likely be left alone, wondering how that happened.

Even though Raj made some mistakes in his quest for love, none of them could match Howard's level of creepiness, so it would make more sense for him to get married. Not only that, but given his crush on Bernadette, they could have made a much better match than she and Howard ever did.

While Howard's character development is one of the best parts of The Big Bang Theory, many would agree that the change he went through was quite radical and would probably have taken much more time in real life. In reality, it would have been him hitting on every woman until there were none left.

Unfortunately, there is no way to see what would happen in this alternate universe other than to imagine it. However, if you're feeling nostalgic for The Big Bang Theory and don't mind going back to canon, you can stream the sitcom from the very first episode on Max.
