We are talking about the 2020 apocalyptic action thriller Greenland. It is worth mentioning that the movie was originally going to be directed by Neill Blomkamp and star Chris Evans. In the end, however, the director was Ric Roman Waugh (Angel Has Fallen, Kandahar), and the lead role, as we said, was played by Butler. The script was written by Chris Sparling.

According to the plot, a colossal comet comes to Earth, capable of destroying all life on the planet. As a result, the world is plunged into mass psychosis, panic and lawlessness, which the state tries unsuccessfully to control.
