1. Marco Polo
Based on the true story of Venetian explorer and writer Marco Polo, his meeting with warlord Kublai Khan and the adventures that followed. It was cancelled after only two seasons because most of the cast were not very known actors. But don't be put off, it's well worth watching.
2. Troy: Fall of a City
This mini-series retells the epic story of the Trojan War. Critics loved it, audiences were divided. But it will definitely grab your attention and is worth checking out.
