"Red hair… and a hand-me-down robe… you must be a Weasley!" Turns out, these are not the only defining characteristics of a Weasley – another one is a sassy attitude.

We all love Ron's sarcastic sense of humor (since it is the only thing they got right in the movies), but sometimes he goes too far.

It is one thing to get back at Malfoy who is always trying to insult Ron's family, and it is quite another to make a snarky comment about someone who doesn't deserve it.

If you are confused, we are talking about the extended scene from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets where Harry, Ron, and Hermione meet Harry's number one fan, Colin Creevey, for the first time.

In the scene, Colin makes his entrance by taking a picture of Harry and asking if Ron can take their photo together to "prove he's met him."

The original extended scene goes a bit further: Colin is TMI'ing Harry with fun facts about his background (Ron is already giving him the side-eye).

We learn that Mr. Creevey is a milkman and that all the Creeveys before Colin have been muggles (well, they are in for a big surprise next year when Colin's brother gets his Hogwarts letter, too).

Colin goes on to say that nobody had any idea that "all the odd stuff" he could do was magic until he got his invitation to study at Hogwarts, and they just thought that he was "mental."

This is when Ron crosses the line and spits out sarcastically, "Imagine that." Good thing Colin is too innocent to understand the comment, but still!

Not cool, Ronald.

Throughout the books, Harry and Ron have been jerks to Colin on various occasions. So what if he gets a little too excited about meeting his idol?

He means well. We understand why Harry's been so annoyed with him – the little guy has bugged him multiple times a day, but Ron could have been nicer.

Still, Ron wouldn't be Ron without his iconic sense of humor. We are glad he has learned where to put it to good use eventually. Weasley is our king!
