Ten Years Later, What is Orphan Black Cast Up to Today?
This year marks the tenth anniversary of Orphan Black's premiere.
While we're not here in this article to talk about how insanely amazing this show was, if you haven't seen it, it's on you. The sci-fi clone show has been elevated to the point of a masterpiece by its leading lady alone.
Phenomenal Tatiana Maslany gives an absolutely unique and breathtaking performance as a whole bunch of clones, and frankly, it's hard to imagine anyone topping that.
The show ran from 2013-2017 for five seasons. Now that a spin-off called Orphan Black: Echoes starring Krysten Ritter has been commissioned by AMC, it's time to look at the cast of the original show and where are they now.
Sarah Manning, Alison Hendrix, Cosima Niehaus, Helena, Rachel Duncan, — those are just some of Tatiana Maslany's roles in the series, all of which were honored by an Emmy.
Since the show ended, Maslany appeared in Perry Mason alongside Matthew Rhys, and now she is a part of MCU as She-Hulk. Maslany is also active as a voice actress.
Paul Dierden, played by Dylan Bruce, was as deadly as he was handsome. The actor has moved on from Orphan Black to starring in crime shows and Netflix ' Sex/Life.
In the second season, another set of clones was introduced played by Ari Millen. He played Ira and other Project Castor clones. Since then, Millen has been a guest star in the series The Expanse, among others.
Delphine Cormier, portrayed by Evelyne Brochu, was Cosima's love interest and scientist. The actress has since moved on to gain popularity as main character Fabien Nury in the French-language series Paris Police 1900.
Sarah's adopted brother, Felix, was portrayed by Jordan Gavaris. The artist and sex worker was the first person Sarah told about the clones. He is now to be seen in Amazon Prime Video series The Lake.
Detective Art Bell, played by Kevin Hanchard, stayed with Sarah Manning from the very beginning. The successful actor has appeared in guest roles in Cardinal and the production Ginny & Georgia since Orphan Black's finale.
Maria Doyle Kennedy gave a stunning performance as Siobhan Sadler, the tough adoptive mother of Sarah and Felix.
The actress, who is also successful as a singer, has since appeared on Outlander and South African dark comedy series Recipes for Love and Murder.
And let's not forget presumably the most fan favorite side character that was Donnie Hendrix, played by Kristian Bruun. He has been upgraded from a supporting role to the main cast of Orphan Black as Allison's husband.
The actor is also known for his roles in The Handmaid's Tale, Snowpiercer, and The Recruit.
While it's definitely fascinating to find out what the future Orphan Black's spinoff might hold, the love fans have for the original cast is just overwhelming.
