Can you guess it?

Sylvester Stallone is a movie and series star, everybody is aware of that. What is less known is that he's also a talented painter.

The actor became known to the world thanks to the Rocky and Rambo franchises, but now he has now showcased another creative side of himself for his almost 16-million Instagram audience.

Are you ready for some Stallone-created art?

In a series of pictures on Instagram, he presents some of his greatest works, including a picture showing his legendary character Rocky Balboa with red boxing gloves.

Another one shows a pair of eyes on a yellow background.

In addition, the line "We gotta start over and over" is to be seen on one of his paintings. Stallone comments on his artworks on Instagram: "Everyone should try to paint what they are feeling!"

Description of another art-related post reads that "what is wonderful about painting it's similar to writing a short screenplay, but instead of words, you use strokes and colors to tell your story."

The actor discovered his love of painting at a young age. He initially signed his early experimental works as Mike Stallone.

In the 1990s he began to deal intensively with contemporary art and studied famous painters such as Pablo Picasso (1881–1973) and Gerhard Richter (91).

Inspired by the abstract works of Mark Rothko (1903-1970), Stallone eventually developed his own Expressionist style.

If you ever want to purchase his artwork, Stallone's paintings cost between $1,000 and $100,000, the priciest ones being his early works.

Despite his obvious love of painting, Sylvester Stallone remains faithful to his acting career. He is currently enjoying great success with his hit series Tulsa King.

Soon he is also to star in the sequels Demolition Man 2 and The Expendables 4.
