Yes, you read that right.

Sometimes the proof backing up the wildest fan theories can be right there, if you just look hard enough. For example, fans of the theory that Will Byers from Stranger Things actually has superpowers like Eleven found proof... in the Stranger Things script.

In the early version of the script for the premiere episode of Stranger Things Season 1, The Vanishing of Will Byers, there is a line that seems to confirm what fans have suspected all along.

It's true that nosebleeds are a characteristic thing that happens to Eleven when she tries to use her powers... or something that happens to Vecna's victims when their bones are about to break. Whatever Will's nosebleed was supposed to indicate, it either confirms that he has some sort of superpower (and was probably trying to use it to protect himself), or Vecna was operating in Hawkins long before we saw him in person in Season 4.

The fact that the line ended up being removed from the final script also is quite telling. Did the showrunners not want to spoil everything in advance?

However, not everyone is ready to immediately believe it.

"Hoppers ears also bleed when he's checking out the shed in that script. I think it was originally supposed to just mean upside down stuff was going on," Twitter user DewyDunes, who is apparently also familiar with the early version of the script, noted.

Nevertheless, fans refuse to give up the belief that Will has some sort of supernatural ability. There are just too many clues to sweep the idea under the carpet. The way the Mind Flayer was obsessed with him, and also the way Will seems to have some sort of connection with Vecna in Season 4, just keeps bothering fans.

People will have to wait a little longer to find out the answers. According to reports, the fifth and final season of Stranger Things is unlikely to arrive before 2024, with filming expected to begin in Atlanta in 2023. There are no official details on the premiere date yet.
