Stranger Things 5 Already Has a Huge Difference From Previous Seasons
It looks like the show is about to get rid of its best part.
Stranger Things has been a fan favorite since it first premiered in 2016. The show has captivated viewers with its thrilling storylines, endearing characters, and nostalgic '80s setting.
But the finale may change many of the beloved details that make the series great to watch.
As the show progressed, fans began to notice that each season had its own unique features. However, recently viewers suggested a particularly interesting aspect of the finale.
A Reddit user noticed the biggest difference they found in season 5 compared to the previous ones: this will be the first season that might jump straight into action instead of slowly building up to, you know, the stranger things.
Now we are unlikely to see the backstory of new characters, if they appear at all. Everyone in Hawkins will be confronted with the terrible world of the Upside Down.
If previous seasons showed us the cool Billy, the slightly nerdy but attractive Eddie, or mysterious Max, season 5 will hardly depict the casual lives of characters minding their own business.
This is a departure from previous times where we've seen setups of each personality or situation and experienced some different storylines that still end up on the same purpose.
From the beginning of season 5, we'll most likely be following the company of friends who gather with El to take over Vecna, the evil that wants to destroy the Hawkins and turn the real city into the Upside Down.
There's little chance for us to witness any relaxed, silly scenes, and the finale picks up right where season 4 left off, giving us a hint that the Duffer brothers have no intention of doing these build-ups like they did before.
The Stranger Things finale may be different from previous installments, but it's clear that the show is still going strong.
Fans can't wait to follow the beloved heroes and the new threats the characters will face together.
The new season of the show may air at the end of 2023 or the first quarter of 2024, and we are eagerly waiting.
