'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' Trailer: Sexy Spock and U.S.S. Enterprise
'Star Trek' franchise is among the most popular original content on Paramount+. So it's no surprise that streaming service's execs decided to expand 'Star Trek' universe further by adding yet another show to the lineup of ongoing popular series such as 'Star Trek: Picard'.
'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' got a new trailer, and fans are obviously pleased with new sets and the iconic ship U.S.S. Enterprise returning.
But they didn't like Spock's new look that much.
'Star Trek: Strange New Worlds' is a prequel to the original series, taking place on the legendary ship U.S.S. Enterprise years before Captain Kirk took the lead. Judging by the series' synopsis, it will feature fan favorites from season two of 'Star Trek: Discovery,' Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock.
'Strange New Worlds' will be the sixth 'Star Trek' show to debut on Paramount+. It is set to begin streaming on May 5.
