Despite her acting, the movie fans hated her character: unlike in the books, the movie Cho betrayed Dumbledore's Army (and Harry personally) with no reasoning explained, gave them up to Umbridge, and escaped any sort of punishment.
The movie writers did Cho dirty: in the books, Cho never did anything like this. On top of the betrayal, she also kind of messed up their only-just-starting relationship with Harry Potter…
And even though she did have a good reason for that, most movie fans never forgave her and deemed Cho one of the most annoying characters.
