Severance S2 Wildest Mystery Resolved Too Soon By Fans

Severance season 2 was indeed one of the most anticipated series to come out this January.

Even though the first episode feels like it aired a moment ago, Reddit is already full with many different fan theories and revelations of all kinds — and it seems like they have already resolved one of the mysteries.

In the episode, viewers were able to see their beloved group together again. But Severance fans got to learn a lot about their favorite characters during season 1, and when they see someone acting differently, they become suspicious. And this time the one who made us feel uneasy was Helly R. Or better say… Helena?

Was It Helena or Helly R in Severance Season 2 Episode 1?

Episode 1 was full of so many things going wrong with her that there was no way the show's writers could keep the secret from the fans. Many Redditors are now confident that it's not Helly who came back to the severed floor, but her outie — Helena Eagan, the daughter of Lumon's CEO.

The first reasons to come to this conclusion make sense: fans pointed out there was no way Helena would have let Helly go back there, because there's just no use for her anymore. It's better for her to go inside and find out what else the MDR team knows and what they're up to.

But it was the moment in the break room when Helly started telling the team what she saw when she woke up that convinced Redditors their theory was true. She made up a story and told her coworkers that she woke up alone in her apartment, wearing a T-shirt, and then came out of her apartment to find someone to tell her story to.

But here's the catch. She told them that she found the gardener and filled him in, but while she was telling it, Irving asked her twice if she was really talking about the gardener. Why did he do that? Well, because Irv was the only one who actually got out and saw the outside world, and he knew it was winter, so no gardener would be working that time.

“She's also insistent on not letting Irv go off on his own, but Dylan says it'll be fine and he'll handle it. And only then is Irv willing to admit he went to see Burt, when it's just he and Dylan in a tight embrace. Irv knows Helly is sus,” Redditor Gekthegecko said.

Fans think that it’s not that big of a mystery that it was not Helly who came back to the severed floor, and the writers better have something else up their sleeve to impress them.
