While everybody was obsessed with Midge and her way to stardom, there was something else happening right in front of us.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is a hit show created by Amy Sherman-Palladino in 2017. And since then, there have been 5 seasons that have kept fans on the edge of their seats, trying to follow the journey of Midge, the former housewife and dedicated mother, to become a strong and independent career woman.

The focus of the show, aside from its comedic path, is also a romance area that still revolves around Miriam. Her relationship with Joel was actually the one that started the show. But then there was Benjamin, Lenny, and that guy from season 5 (who can even remember his name?).

But really, season 5 gave us another couple to be obsessed with. Since fans didn't know much about Susie's love life, it was a shock when it was revealed that she once had a relationship with Hedy, Gordon Ford's wife. And it seems that the wounds of their break-up never healed...

But while following that new amazing romantic storyline, it appears like the fans have missed something even bigger. Until a very dedicated fan pointed at that on Reddit.

“I feel like Mike Carr is attracted to Gordon Ford. I know this seems out of nowhere but hear me out. All we know about them in season four is that Mike is Gordon's talent booker and Gordons his boss, star of his own late night show. The more we get of season 5, the more we see Carr and his relationship with Ford + how they work together,” Redditor myownyellowbedhead shared.

The fans also pointed out how Mike always hinted that he was unhappily married. Well, he mentioned his kids a lot, and it's clear he loves them, but what about his wife? He barely mentioned her once, and not in a positive way.

The only time he seems really happy is when he is doing something good or right for Gordon. So the fans think there might be something more than just a good old-fashioned bromance.

As the theory spreads, there are now many other posts that hint at Mike's one-sided love. And this instagram post is just something that really shocked the fans.

Mainly because Jason Ralph, the actor who plays Mike, apparently confirmed this fan theory by a simple “Yep” comment.

Well, isn’t that enough for shippers to start calling the duo FordCarr?
