Fans are used to MCU spoilers leaking online via a variety of sources, but Disney Plus is rarely one of them.

Nevertheless, this is exactly what has happened several days ago.

The Disney Plus enthusiasts discovered this Monday that page profile for highly anticipated MCU series Secret Invasion has published a rather unexpected piece of information – the show's release date.

According to that information, which is only to be construed as official and legit, the series starring Samuel L. Jackson is set to launch on June 21, 2023.

But in an even more unexpected turn of events, the whole page dedicated to Secret Invasion was deleted shortly after the release date was unveiled.

However, you just can't drop a news bomb like that and expect it to go unnoticed by the social media. And once there, the release date info is engraved in fans' minds. Disney just can't re-delete it, after all.

Fans started expressing their theories, including that the leak was intentional and Disney will just do the She-Hulk thing and in a couple of days release the Secret Invasion trailer with the officially stated premiere date.

Although, some fans voiced an opinion that it is "not normal" for a release date not being announced for so long, and that in this case "it means that Marvel Studios themselves weren't sure about the release date until recently".

Redditors were quick to remind that "the show has been delayed a couple of times" already, and the whole thing is far from being a good sign.

In any case, the moment when the launch date was revealed couldn't be more suspicious, considering the uncertainty surrounding the actor behind new core MCU figure, Jonathan Majors.

Whether that leak was accidental, intentional, or the Skrulls just secretly invaded Disney Plus web page, at least it has given fans something to wait for, amidst the whole Majors drama and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania's flop.
