Sasha and Michael Could Have Been the Best General Hospital Couple, But Got Ruined Instead

General Hospital fans always have something to reminisce about, whether it's the old villains, the old heroes or, of course, the former love interests of the main characters. The soap opera has been on air since 1963 and during these 60+ years, the writers have ruined many couples.

One of the couples that fans of the show are still rooting for is definitely Michael and Sasha. Michael is the son of the late A.J. Quartermaine and his ex-wife, Carly Corinthos, and the adopted son of mob boss Sonny Corinthos. Michael has been portrayed by Chad Duell since 2010.

Sasha is Amanda Gilmore’s daughter who arrived in town pretending to be the daughter of the late Dr. Silas Clay and his ex-wife, Nina Reeves. Sasha has been portrayed by Sofia Mattsson.

Now that you remember them, it's time to take a look at their past as a couple. The thing is, they had an on-screen chemistry that no Cody or Willow can match. And while there were definitely some viewers who were happy to see them break up, there are still many of us who root for them to get back together at every opportunity.

“It really pissed me off when they broke them up. Michael is a hard character to pair because he's so self righteous and judgemental. It worked with Sasha because she was flawed and he was protective instead of judging her which made him more likeable. When paired with another goody two shoes like "Willow" he comes off as massive,” Redditor Caseythealien said.

Well, the poor girl has been through a lot, even while she was together with Michael, and while many General Hospital fans say there’s no connection between Sasha and Cody, her life seems to be finally coming together.
