Remember How Bold & Beautiful Killed Sheila Off? Didn’t Last Long
The final death wasn’t so final after all.
Summary:
- Just like any other soap, The Bold and The Beautiful is no stranger to fake deaths.
- Not only did the death of Sheila Carter seem real, but was confirmed by actress Kimberlin Brown.
- However, her constant reappearance in her son's dreams makes people doubt that she won't be back soon.
If there's one thing you can never be too sure of in soaps, it's the deaths. No matter how believable they may seem, and no matter how slim the chances of anyone coming out of these situations alive, there is always the possibility of a comeback. If not in the reality of the show, then as a haunting nightmare.
The theme of someone coming back from the dead has never really left the genre, but right now it feels like it's having a renaissance. General Hospital is bringing back Jason Morgan, who hasn't appeared in Port Charles since 2021, and The Bold and The Beautiful seems to be reevaluating its own decision to murder Sheila Carter.
Is there a chance that Kimberlin Brown fooled us all and will come back as Sheila? Or does her haunting of her own son have some other meaning that we're about to find out? So far, all the Internet has gotten is endless speculation.
Did Bold & Beautiful’s Sheila Carter Die?
Heading into Friday, March 8, fans of The Bold and The Beautiful were under the impression that Sheila was gone for good this time. Stabbed to death by her true nemesis, Steffy, she had no chance of surviving the attack. However, her comeback to the show in the form of a ghost terrorizing her son Finn has raised some eyebrows.
Of course, considering the fact that she was brutally murdered by her own daughter-in-law, Sheila's desire to ruin her marriage from the afterlife is completely understandable. However, some fans feel that she may not just be a very persistent ghost. In fact, based on this week's spoilers, Finn's visions of his mother feel very real.
A lot of people still don't believe that Sheila is dead, visions or no visions. She's been presumed dead too many times, and this time there's too little evidence to prove it was really her in front of Steffy. Although the story of her missing toe is usually brought up for laughs, it could really come in handy this time.
Right now, people prefer to believe she's dead just for the sake of the story, but no one would be too surprised to see another miraculous resurrection story, or a tale of a doppelganger caught in the crossfire instead of the actual villain. As for Kimberlin Brown's exit interview... well, sometimes a little white lie goes a long way.
If you want to see how the story of Sheila Carter's most suspicious demise plays out on The Bold and the Beautiful, make sure to tune in to the soap Monday through Friday on CBS.
