It even took some time for those in the leading roles like Jennifer Aniston or Courtney Cox to finally get adjusted to everything that was happening, let alone the actors that appeared only in a couple of episodes.

One of the latter ones was Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon who got to play Rachel’s sister Jill — and though nobody could tell this by her performance, the actress felt truly horrified during her time on the famous sitcom’s set.

While talking to People about all her most significant roles in the acting career, Witherspoon couldn’t remove her Friends’ role out of this list. To everyone’s surprise, the actress revealed that being on Friends is even now one of her “scariest moments ever”.

She then clarified that her timidity was due to the fact that she had never got to work in such “theatrical” conditions with the live audience being present on set. Witherspoon also admitted that she had been stunned by how masterfully and naturally the main cast was throwing all their jokes.

Despite all the scary moments, Reese Witherspoon did have a big support while filming Friends. The actress shared a sweet detail of her presence on set as she got to it almost right after giving birth to her first child Ava — and Jennifer Aniston accompanied by Courtney Cox was quick to offer a helping hand with the baby.

According to Witherspoon, at that time she was almost a kid herself, but the Friends’ cast did their best to make her at least a little bit more comfortable in such conditions.
