Reed Richards Fan Theory Hints at Possible 'Fantastic Four' Cameos in 'The Marvels'
Marvel seems to be becoming all about cameos lately.
With Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige saying that the 'Fantastic Four ' movie is not going to be an origin story, many people quickly suggested that it means that the team already exists within the MCU.
Albeit a questionable suggestion, it would mean that theoretically, 'Fantastic Four' characters could appear in the Marvel projects before teaming up in their own movie, which is scheduled for a 2024 release.
There have been enough hints in the previous MCU projects for fans to already anticipate some cameos. For instance, entertainment influencer Matt Ramos suggested on his Twitter account that Reed Richards could appear in 'The Marvels ' as a mysterious aerospace engineer that Monica Rambeau said she knew in 'WandaVision'. Her seemingly innocent remark has never received any development so far.
"Great idea! Have Reed mention Ben Grimm and get a call from Sue Storm." – @MichaelHuziak
However, people were quick to argue that this is unlikely – at least if Marvel is set to follow the comic book canon.
"The aerospace engineer she knows is Blue Marvel, not Reed Richards. Read a comic my dude. If Richards appears in anything, it will be Agatha Coven of Chaos, cause Agatha babysits their kids in the comics." – @FieryClub
Other fan theories flirt with the idea of The Thing appearing in 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law', given that Jennifer Walters is going to deal with a lot of questionable enhanced individuals over the course of the show.
With or without the potential 'Fantastic Four' cameos, 'The Marvels' are scheduled to be released on July 28, 2023. 'Fantastic Four', for its part, will follow two years later, expected to kick off Phase Six of the MCU.
