1. Audition (1999)
Audition is a psychological horror film directed by Takashi Miike featuring Ryo Ishibashi and Eihi Shiina. The movie revolves around a hopeless widower who is trying to come back in the dating game again. With the help of his friend, he stages a phony audition to find a perfect girl for him. And so he thinks he does.
His chosen one is Asami, a girl with a dark past who seems to be so mysterious and magnetic he couldn’t help but fall in love. However, he soon will realize that he made a huge mistake and his life is under big threat. The final torture scene is absolutely horrifying…
2. Snowtown (2011)
The story in this horror revolves around 16-year-old Jamie and his newfound father figure John and many other unfortunate people around them. Jamie and his mother along with his two little brothers live together in a terrible, god-forgotten place that Jamie dreams of leaving. And one day he thinks his dream is about to come true: the day John appears in his life.
But their meeting was fatal for many of the neighbors. Like a leech, he bites into these people, giving them hope for a better life, only to end up disappointed and what;smore - disturbed by the chaos that soon takes over the place.
3. Irreversible (2002)
Gaspar Noé's acclaimed horror starring Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel. The movie that caused a lot of controversy because of how horrific the main scene is.
The events of one traumatic night in Paris unfold in reverse chronological order as the beautiful Alex is brutally raped and beaten by a stranger in an underground tunnel. After that, her boyfriend and ex-boyfriend have decided to do justice themselves.
