Reddit Theory Suggests How 'She-Hulk' Might Be Setting Up 'Thunderbolts'
What if Jen Walters actually got a role in the MCU she does not yet understand?
With 'Thunderbolts ' coming out in 2024, Marvel Studios seems to be laying the groundwork for the movie right now, using 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law', according to a fan theory shared on Reddit.
Now that Abomination, one of Jen's clients, has broken out of jail, there are chances she will get other supervillains as clients – also with them potentially escaping later. Abomination is one of the most prominent members of Thunderbolts, so the next client, fans suspect, can be Bullseye – which is quite logical considering that Daredevil is confirmed to be a part of the show.
"He could say that Bullseye tarnishing the red suit in Daredevil season 3 was the reason for changing the Daredevil costume by adding yellow. Bullseye could say he was trying to be a superhero, and then try to shift blame onto Fisk/Kingpin and maybe even Murdock's Daredevil as the real villains," the fan theory suggests.
It goes on to allege that She-Hulk is being used to set free all the supervillains that will later join forces in 'Thunderbolts'. This would be a reasonable backstory for the team in the MCU – even though it kind of makes Jennifer Walters a part of what caused an antagonist group formation.
However, it also ties Thunderbolts to the government and the legal system, with the MCU not shying away from addressing the role of the authorities in the entire superhero issue.
Tatiana Maslany and her character have not been confirmed to be a part of the upcoming Thunderbolts movie. The cast has largely remained a mystery, and so have plot details.
'Thunderbolts' will hit theaters on July 26, 2024.
