Reddit Spots a Glaring Jamie and Beth Plot Hole in Yellowstone
Looks like Beth is just digging herself deeper at this point.
Yellowstone season 5 has already received a lot of criticism from fans, but it looks like there are many more errors to be discovered in the show.
One plot hole has already been pointed at on Reddit, with the user SmellFew8037 wondering whether Beth's self-run investigation into Jamie is going as well as she wanted.
It's about the photo of Jamie near the body of his dead dad. With Jamie being an attorney general, the photo could really cause him troubles, so Beth is right to think about using it... or is she?
"Her exposing him with this picture does that not make her an accessory to the crime? Since she was at the scene and photographed it but did not report it," the Redditor suggested.
Basically, with no one but Beth to confirm the authenticity of the photo, the "evidence" puts her into just as much trouble as Jamie, because Beth failed to report it in the first place.

In order to actually make it work, Beth would have to reveal where the body was dumped, which potentially leads an investigation all the way back to John and Rip, and that's definitely not something Beth would be willing to sacrifice for the sake of humiliating John and Rip.
According to fans, Beth's entire "master plan" is "insanely stupid", because "she'd nail Jamie, but she would nuke everything she purports to care about, herself included." However, given that Beth has become even more insufferable in season 5, maybe that is actually what is about to happen.
After all, many fans have already suggested that the show is setting stage for her demise, and who's to say that Beth is not trying to take everything down with her?
