Yellowstone Reddit Theory Points to Season 5 Finale's Most Likely Death
It's currently unclear whether season 5 will mark the end of the entire series.
With Season 5 in full swing, fans are already wondering what will happen in the season finale and where the series is headed. It's only natural to start thinking about who will be killed off, and there is one character in particular that fans are worried about.
There are various suggestions as to who might die, but one of them looks especially plausible. According to Redditor Dead_Inside79, it's highly likely that Tate is going to be killed off in the series finale.
"He's the only kid so far and I think they are setting it up so that he dies. Therefore fulfilling the prophecy that the ranch ends in 7 generations. I think it's going to end with Kacey holding him by that tree just like John and James before," the Redditor suggested.
While the suggestion seems reasonable, there are other opinions. For example, some people believe that the prophecy does not necessarily point to his death, since Tate is "uniquely positioned to represent both the Duttons and the natives to whom the land once belonged.
Has Yellowstone' s Latest Episode Just Foreshadowed The End For Beth?
Redditor daneastman believes that the series finale can end up with something many fans actually want: Beth getting killed off.
"It could also be that Jaime kills Beth, John finds out and kills Jaime in a fit of rage that can't be covered up. Kayce is the last one in the Dutton line who could take the land, which he does reluctantly considering all the time he's spent trying to escape it," the user explained.
No matter how Season 5 ends, it is not yet clear whether it will be the final season for the show. For now, the creators of Yellowstone seem eager to expand the universe, with several spin-offs already in the works, and Season 5 already becoming America's most-watched TV show of the year.
