Finally, a spinoff that reveals Bridgerton's secrets.

The Bridgerton spinoff tells us the origin story of Queen Charlotte and King George and mostly covers their romantic history.

However, the show has also managed to answer some of the hottest Bridgerton questions.

Here are 5 of them that Queen Charlotte revealed.

1. King George's Health

While Bridgerton hid King George from the viewers only letting them know that he was seriously ill, the spinoff has finally given us the answers to his medical condition.

King George appeared to have suffered from mental problems for a very long time, specifically uncontrollable manic episodes that seemed impossible to cure.

As the King grew older, his health deteriorated and seemed to peak in old age.

2. Did Queen Charlotte Want King George's Death?

At one point in the Bridgerton series, we see the Queen very concerned about her husband's health.

Some of the fans started to create a theory that she wanted her husband to be presumed dead, but the spinoff shows us another side of the coin.

Queen Charlotte and King George are madly in love and don't want to lose each other. So when she asks about her husband's condition, the only thing she wants to make sure is that he hasn't left her.

3. Relationship Between Queen Charlotte And Her Children

Queen Charlotte and King George had 15 children and all of them are hardly seen in the Bridgerton series and it seems that there were valid reasons for that.

All of their children are presumed to be illegitimate, and most of them are unmarried, which is undoubtedly not a perfect image for a royal family.

Queen Charlotte was haunted by the shame of how her children's lives turned out, that's why they're all out of sight in the main series.

4. Eloise's Personality

While fans are crazy about Eloise Bridgerton and her strong character, Queen Charlotte revealed where it might come from.

In the spinoff, we see a young Violet Ledger, a mother of Eloise, and 7 other Bridgertons, portrayed as an intelligent and strong-willed woman — the one we are used to seeing in Eloise.

After a few episodes, there is no doubt that Eloise got it from her mother.

5. Why So Many Dogs?

We are used to seeing Queen Charlotte surrounded by Pomeranians, but the real reason is much deeper than just a love for the breed.

In the early days of Queen Charlotte and King George's marriage, the King sent his wife a Pomeranian so she wouldn't feel left out at Buckingham House.

Queen Charlotte has continued to breed dogs to this day, and it seems that it helps her feel closer to King George as she tries to make her feel less lonely without him.

It's cute and heartbreaking at the same time.
