Perfect Hogwarts Founders Fancast Will Make You Want It On Screen, Right Now
No, the Hogwarts Founders project is not officially in development, but fans are allowed to dream.
For many years, the Harry Potter fandom has dreamed of seeing the story of Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Helga Hufflepuff, and Rowena Ravenclaw brought to screen, either as a film or television project. Since Warner Bros. has yet to announce their plans regarding the wizarding world, all that is left is for fans to assemble their dream cast for the potential Hogwarts Founders project.
So far, people have come up with some amazing fancasts for the role of the four great wizards, and we couldn't help but use some AI magic to imagine the actors in their roles.
Godric Gryffindor
Many fans believe that Liam Neeson has what it takes to make a convincing Godric Gryffindor. When you look at this Midjourney-generated version of what Neeson would look like as Gryffindor, it is hard to imagine anyone else in the role.
Rowena Ravenclaw
When it comes to the patroness of Hogwarts' brightest, Rowena Ravenclaw, many believe that Ann Hathaway would be a good choice. A lot of people also thought she was great for the role of Rowena's daughter Helena (who appeared in Deathly Hallows Part 2, portrayed by Kelly Macdonald). Well, not that the role was taken, why not cast Hathaway as the founder of Ravenclaw?
Salazar Slytherin
The fancast for the rogue founder, Salazar Slytherin, is perhaps one of the most debated in the fandom. While many people suggest Tom Hiddleston ( perhaps because the MCU has already proven that he looks good in green), there is one fancast that pretty much everyone in the fandom agrees would be terrific: Mark Strong.
Still not convinced? How about now?
Helga Hufflepuff
While few may have considered The Rings of Power actress Sophia Nomvete for the role of Helga Hufflepuff, we took the liberty of imagining the breakout star of The Lord of the Rings prequel as one of the founders of Hogwarts. After Nomvete's portrayal of the kind and loyal dwarf wife Disa in The Rings of Power, we say this could work very well.
