While the wait for the second part of Bridgerton season 3 is no longer as daunting as it seemed on May 16, there is still more than a week to fill before the premiere. All the fans eagerly awaiting the show's return are spending their nights looking for something to keep them just as enthralled.

Luckily for Bridgerton fans, Amazon Prime already has a perfect Bridgerton replacement that will be especially interesting for Eloise Bridgerton fans. In the 2018 miniseries Vanity Fair, Claudia Jessie, who portrays Eloise, will be seen in a different time period and with a completely different character.

Who Did Claudia Jessie Play in Vanity Fair?

Based on the 1848 novel of the same name by William Makepeace Thackeray, the show follows two opposite women, Becky and Amelia, and the way their lives intertwine as they both try their hardest to achieve their dreams in a society where everything depends on money and family status.

Jessie stars opposite House of the Dragons' Olivia Cooke, who portrays a witty con woman, Becky Sharp, who uses her looks and brains to climb the social ladder through various upper-class men. And if you think her character is anything like the smart and resilient Eloise, you're in for a disappointment.

Claudia Jessie's Amelia Sedley is anything but independent and free-spirited. Young and naive, she befriends Becky at the Academy and invites her to stay at her family's house in London. Amelia is determined to marry for love and spend her life caring for her family, but instead, she ends up in tragedy when a man she loves betrays her.

Vanity Fair is a show about people who long for what they cannot have and get stuck in the mess of a fantasy they have created for themselves. The show, which aired on ITV and was later distributed by Amazon Prime Video, has an 89% rating from both critics and viewers, with many praising Olivia Cooke's performance.

The show consists of 7 episodes of 45 minutes each, so it is perfect to watch until Bridgerton season 3 part 2 comes back to our screens. If you are interested in another witty and fast-paced period drama, you can stream Vanity Fair on Prime Video.
