Pedro Pascal and his screen character Mando seem to have a lot in common – for example, they are both delighted with Grogu's popularity.

Masked bounty hunter first appeared in 2019 with the release of 'The Mandalorian ' on Disney+. Fans loved many of the show's features, including in-depth story development, excellent cinematography, and a charismatic, yet believable main protagonist. However, one character completely stole the show – the success of Grogu, nicknamed Little Yoda, was so enormous that Disney launched an entire line of merchandise to satisfy fans' needs. So, when a little green puppet constantly steals the spotlight from you, every actor can snap, so why didn't Pascal do it?

It turns out that Pascal was able to develop a kind of fatherly love for the character and considers their on-screen tandem one of the main reasons why 'The Mandalorian' turned out the way it did.

"I don't get tired of it, actually. I think it helps a lot. I would say that I certainly do not feel a lack of love for Mando, and I think that if anything, it's probably enhanced by the relationship that we have and the love we all have for Grogu. So, no, you can't take Grogu away from me," Pascal told Yahoo Entertainment.

Fans agree with the actor, supporting his idea that Grogu is a kind of complement to Mando, and concluding that this tender connection between the characters is certainly felt even in Pascal himself.

'The Mandalorian' season 3 will arrive on Disney + in February 2023.
