However, she wasn't always the ultimate It girl of the modern film industry. When she first started out in Hollywood, Jenna had to do a whole lot of commercials before she could go on to star in actual movies and shows. In 2022, the actress stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to share what it was like for her in the early days.

Apparently, Ortega wasn't always the memorable performer she is today – McDonald's casting directors did hire her three times to star in their commercials without realizing that she had already done it before. On top of that, all three commercials were reportedly filmed within the same year. They really weren't paying attention, were they?

The actress was asked to dance around the room and do other "fun" activities in the commercials, but there was one thing that disappointed her each time.

The children were all assigned a specific McDonald's food to represent in the commercial, and Ortega was always told that she would be "apples," which she recalled as "one of the most disappointing experiences" of her life. Let's face it: no one goes to McDonald's to eat healthy, so we understand Jenna's feelings.

Years later, the star is still traumatized by her fast-food past and apples in particular. According to Ortega, every time she sees an apple, she is "infuriated." Poor Jenna! Hopefully, she will be able to get over her beef with fruit sometime in the future.
