As if it's not enough to lie to the greatest characters, let's just make them suffer unconditionally.

The latest Apple TV Plus series, Silo, is truly the kind of show that keeps fans on the edge of their seats, not only for the entire episode, but for the entire week of anticipation while waiting for a new episode to air.

There are already five of them released by the platform and the sixth episode, titled The Relic, will premiere tomorrow. And all the fans are tormented with one question that doesn't let them rest: what is Silo and what is outside?

Well, it seems that at the very beginning of the show, Allison, Sheriff Holston's wife, and the IT guy George Wilkins were somewhere on their way to finding the real answers to those questions.

They found a relic, a videotape that showed some scenery that may have been the outside world.

But Allison became obsessed with the idea of finding out what it actually was, so she decided to go out "to clean," and Holston could do nothing to protect her from being sent out.

When she entered the outside world, it was only a matter of minutes before she passed out under the tree. And the costume she was wearing could not save her.

Day after day for three years, Holston saw the picture of his presumed dead wife from the cafeteria window.

He couldn't wait any longer, and went out to be with her as well. And that's where the interesting and frankly quite disturbing part begins.

The thing is, everyone who leaves Silo wears a special costume with a helmet and a vision mask. When Holston went outside, he wore one as well.

But eagle-eyed fans noticed something wrong with the image he saw in his mask. It took Redditor hitmancanbang no time to understand what exactly was off about that.

Holston was actually seeing the same kind of landscape that his wife and Wilkins saw in the video. So there we have our first clue that what he saw was fake.

But then comes another piece of evidence. He looked at where his wife was laying, but he couldn't see her with the helmet on.

Only after taking it off does Holston realize he is near his wife and passes out next to her, almost catching her hand.

So the suit visor that he was wearing before completely blocked Holston out of the "reality" he was so eager to understand.

And that makes the Silo mystery even darker. Where is the truth after all?
