They just don't know how to make a good superhero show anymore.

As the Daredevil fans get more and more excited with each and every news about the Daredevil: Born Again show coming their way, some are getting quite skeptical about all the changes Disney has made to a story that has already been told by Netflix.

Despite the fact that both Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal are keeping their respective roles of Daredevil and The Punisher, fans can expect the change in pretty much everything else. While sometimes change is good, the majority of viewers don't feel that Disney Plus has a handle on what a good MCU TV show should look like.

The only Disney-produced show that could compete in quality with numerous Netflix productions was WandaVision, and fans feel that they cracked the main reason why all the other shows didn't quite live up to their expectations.

The thing is, Disney Plus doesn't seem to understand the idea of episodic content very well. While their shows have great storylines and great production values, they don't feel like TV shows at all. If anything, any show that is marketed as 6 hours would end up being 3 to 4 hours if you cut out all the credits and intros.

And what does that leave the viewer with? Well, an extended version of the usual MCU superhero movie. A genre that Disney has already perfected.

Besides the fact that the series is much too short and poorly structured, many viewers believe that Disney's age and rating restrictions also have their effect. Some of the heroes and, more importantly, some of the villains in the Marvel Comics universe have darker backgrounds that need to be portrayed in the same way.

While Netflix could allow pretty much any violence they felt was necessary for the story, Disney doesn't have that privilege. This is exactly why fans are already dreading the polished fight scenes and whitewashed Punisher they may see in an upcoming Daredevil reboot.

But if you are still excited to see your favorite characters again, keep an eye out for more news and behind-the-scenes updates to make sure you do not miss the Daredevil: Born Again premiere.
