The streaming giant keeps the intrigue for the final season.

Not a week goes by without yet another big hit flick or show being added to Netflix ’s endless collection, and now it’s time for those who have been waiting for a big series’ third season to finally arrive after binge-watching the first two.

In a somewhat weird way, Netflix is set to welcome Killing Eve season 3 on its platform already this week, which comes as a quite logical addition to the two seasons that have been available on the platform for a while.

What Is Killing Eve About?

Starring Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer, Killing Eve follows British intelligence investigator Eve Polastri who embarks on a cat-and-mouse chase for psychopathic assassin Villanelle, but the mission starts going in the wrong direction as soon as both of them realize they are obsessed with each other.

Reaching the point of no return, Eve and Villanelle have to decide whether they’re ready to give in to their feelings or would rather stick to their missions with no compromise ever considered.

With the first season being helmed by Fleabag ’s star Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Killing Eve got phenomenal success upon its release back in 2018. The first two installments got overall critical acclaim and a raving reaction from viewers, though the last two seasons can’t really boast the same level of audience delight.

The show’s first season was quick to get impressive scores of 96% and 90% from critics and viewers on Rotten Tomatoes while season 3 had relatively modest results of 80% and 81% when it was released in 2020.

Killing Eve’s first two seasons can already be streamed on Netflix, while the show’s season 3 will become available for watching on June 1.
