Beware the major spoiler to an upcoming season 2… or, just forget.

The announcement in July that Good Omens was coming back with Season 2 was shocking enough for fans to lose their minds completely.

Neil Gaiman, being the creative genius that he is, came up with a collaboration with The Hillywood Show to then release the news that Season 2 of the show is coming very soon to Amazon Prime.

If the first season was based on the book, the second season promises to be a complete surprise, telling a story that hasn't been written yet.

This, mixed with the usual excitement that all fans get when they learn that their favorite show is coming back, created a massive reaction with the Good Omens fandom taking over all social media.

However, little did they know how much more shock they were about to experience. With the recent leak of the new Season 2 trailer on Amazon Prime Video, fans found out a little too much for their own good.

One thing is seeing your favorite ship finally become canon throughout the season, and the other is seeing it happen in a second right in the trailer.

Not only do fans feel that #IneffableHusbands Crowley and Aziraphale deserved a much better reveal, but they also feel bad for Neil Gaiman, who certainly did not plan for the leak to happen and who cares deeply about these characters.

The author has already taken to Twitter to say that he is "f#cking furious," suggesting that he had nothing to do with the leak.

Even though Gaiman himself has already confirmed that the audience's favorite angel and demon are romantically involved, it hits fans even harder to see the action on screen.

But for now, the fandom made the very responsible collective decision to just forget what they saw and save their thoughts until July 28th.

No one knows exactly what caused the leak and who will be held responsible. What's certain is that neither the creator nor the fandom behind Good Omens are happy with what happened.
