‘Now Wait’: Ted Lasso Star’s Tweet Sparks Speculation About Season 4
Nick Mohammed makes fun of his spoiler from a year ago with another spoiler.
Summary:
- Ted Lasso came to an end in time after three seasons, although a lot of fans were sad to say goodbye to the show.
- Speculation about Season 4 was reignited after Nick Mohammed posted a tweet that hinted at the possibility of another season.
Ted Lasso was the project that gave many a boost of positivity: it premiered in 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, just when we needed it most. In those three years, the writers of the show helped us believe in ourselves and not be afraid to stumble, express our emotions and not give up in difficult moments.
The writers, directors, and actors did this with such endearing sincerity that it was almost impossible not to be a part of their infectious optimism. Ted Lasso himself, charmingly played by Jason Sudeikis, has become one of the sweetest and kindest characters on television.
Ted Lasso's end was right on time, just like its beginning. The writers told the whole story and brought the storylines of all the characters, both major and minor, to a logical conclusion. Fortunately for Ted Lasso fans, the show has avoided the fate of a number of other sitcoms that have lost their charm due to endless stretching.
Is Ted Lasso Сoming Back for Season 4?
But if you thought it was time to put the mustachioed coach's cookie back in the gift box of fond memories, that may not be the case.
Nick Mohammed, who played Nate, posted a tweet on X that sparked speculation about a fourth season. Read the tweet below:
“One year to the day since Ted Lasso wrapped. And one year to the day that I accidentally posted this spoiler of Nate in AFC Richmond kit! Promise it won’t happen again on season 4 - now wait.”
Nick Mohammed is the Tom Holland from the world of Ted Lasso – he accidentally spoiled the events of the show, too. A year ago he posted a photo of his character in the form of the Greyhounds, and then it became clear to everyone that in the end the kitman who became a Wonder Kid would return to where he belonged.
Of course, it could just be a joke, but Ted taught us to believe. So we believe that the show's creators and writers have come up with something worthy of bringing all of our favorite characters back for at least one more season.
