No One Believed In White Collar Revival, But It’s Closer Than You Think

In the age of endless reboots, remakes, and revivals, it's getting harder and harder to find something worthy of the audience's attention. Most of the projects that are in line to be remade are already considered monstrosities in the pre-production stage, and those that intrigue audiences in the beginning almost never live up to expectations.

Why would you want to ruin something that was already so good? Well, most of the time studios see these projects as an easy way to make money by creating something that has a big and well-known name attached to it.

However, there are some cases where the cast, the production team, and most importantly the fans of the original material are all on the same page and believe there is more to the story.

This is the way the Good Omens fandom worked for 4 years before suddenly getting the second season of the show. It is also the way Supernatural fans manifest a different finale for the story of the Winchester brothers and Castiel. This seems to be the case for the White Collar team as well.

Matt Bomer About White Collar Revival

If there is one person more qualified to talk about the revival of the iconic police procedural drama White Collar, it is Neal Caffrey himself. While promoting another of his recent projects, Fellow Travelers, Bomer answered TVLine's question about the possibility of a comeback to the story.

The answer turned out to be more positive and affirmative than anyone expected.

“There has been talk. It’s actually very legitimate talk, it’s in conversation. A lot of things need to fall into place, but there is a plan in effect, at least, so we’ll see what happens,” Bomer said.

Naturally, one of the biggest questions would be whether the revival would deal with the death of Willie Garson in 2022. Sadly, the actor who portrayed Neal's former mentor and best friend Mozzie passed away from pancreatic cancer. However, the actor went on to assure fans that he wouldn't talk about a revival if it didn't honor Garson's involvement.

Of course, it is too early to talk about production and release dates. However, it's safe to say that the fanbase of the show never really went dormant and is now happy to spread their joy all over the Internet.
