Nicolas Cage Wants To Play a DC Villain Egghead, But Fans Have Some Other Ideas
In an interview with FOX 7 Austin News Channel the actor revealed that he would love to appear in ‘The Batman’ sequel and oppose Robert Pattinson on screen.
“I want to have a go at Egghead. I think I can make him absolutely terrifying,” said Cage at ‘The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent’ premiere. The actor added that he was actively thinking about it and already got a concept for Egghead that Batman fans would love.
A lot of fans supported the idea. Twitter users are excited to see Cage in ‘The Batman’ sequel or some other DC movie. Some of them are sure that he can play a terrifying Batman villain pretty easily. The audience believes that Cage is making a big comeback with critically acclaimed ‘The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent’ which earned 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. The actor seems to have all the chances to get the desired role.
But many fans would love to see Cage playing another DC supervillain. Twitter users suggest that he would be a perfect Professor Pyg, Joker or Mad Hatter. Others want to see the actor playing Mr. Freeze or even Two-Face.
Nicolas Cage is not the only famous actor who would love to play Egghead. ‘Seinfeld’ star Jason Alexander already tweeted about his interest in this character in 2019.
