It would be way cooler to not see anyone left out.

General Hospital fans are always ready for another treat. Even though the show has not been doing as well as they had hoped for the last couple of years, many still stick with it out of pure nostalgia and love for some of the older storylines.

As a result, every little change for the better is immediately noticed and gets everyone extremely excited.

Even changes as minor as the show's opening credits, which will not have any effect on what’s going on in the episodes, are met with appreciation on Twitter and Reddit, with many viewers happy to see the cast in new, beautiful shots.

The only thing that bothers people is that not everyone important to the plot seems to be involved.

Although the majority of the characters that the current plot is based on are covered in an updated intro, some fans are upset about not seeing their favorites.

For example, Dex, Trina, and Portia, who are usually in the middle of every fan discussion these days, were nowhere to be seen.

However, their co-stars and in-universe partners involved in the same storylines did make an appearance, causing even more confusion.

While some thought the changes in the opening might indicate some changes in the storylines, others were quick to take offense on behalf of their favorites for being left out.

Fortunately, there is no need to get too dramatic just yet. Since a show with a cast as large as General Hospital cannot include everyone in a limited-time opening, they usually stick to the characters who were prominent in the episode.

This means that in the coming days, fans will have a chance to see not only their favorite characters in the opening but also the updated images in it.

If you don't want to miss out, tune in to ABC Monday through Friday, or catch up with the episodes on ABC’s website online.
