The crime series proves that fans’ voice still matters, despite CBS not believing in this.

Though nothing has been confirmed so far, Netflix might soon be getting an unprecedented case of a show saved by its fans not even once, but twice.

Unlike CBS and its indifference towards its viewers’ pleas to bring fan-favorite NCIS: Hawai’i back to the screen, the streaming giant is likely to stand alongside its audience if it ever comes to reviving a 2020 crime show that is currently having the best time on Netflix’s top chart.

According to the latest data from FlixPatrol, Brian Cranston’s legal drama series Your Honor is currently holding a second place in the streaming’s US top 10, surpassed only by Bridgerton.

It’s been a while since Your Honor started getting all the attention it deserves after years spent as a Netflix hidden gem, quietly lying somewhere in the streaming’s infinite collection of flicks and series.

Is Your Honor Renewed for Season 3?

Initially conceived as a miniseries, Your Honor was never supposed to go beyond a single season, though it eventually received such a warm welcome that its creators had no other choice but to please numerous fans with yet another season released back in 2023.

Since then, Your Honor was proclaimed canceled once and for all, but surprisingly enough, things might change again now that the series is getting its second life on Netflix’s top chart.

Ahead of the second season’s release back in 2023, Your Honor lead actor, Brian Cranston, hinted at a possible change of plan, revealing that he would love to come back to his role should the show’s creators indeed come up with an idea for a third season.

According to Cranston, all the love Your Honor eventually got from the audience does speak volumes, yet “it’d have to be some great reason to keep expanding in this world and to find out where the allegiances are.”

Given that it’s already been several weeks since Your Honor started getting all the hype from Netflix viewers and eventually made it to the top of the US charts, a great reason the actor talked about a year ago has just been found.

Despite the fact that the whole story is somehow wrapped up (not entirely though), the show could potentially proceed to another season without having to alter the storyline too much since there can be a lot of ways that the story may adapt even after its second season’s seemingly definite finale.

Both seasons of Your Honor are available to stream on Netflix worldwide.
