This J-drama is a time-travel comedy in which a foul-mouthed and somewhat problematic teacher and single father from the 1980s (Sadawo Abe) accidentally finds himself in 2024. We also recommend that you check out this Japanese romantic drama. The plot follows a young woman (Fumi Nikaido) who, after a traffic accident, is able to read other people's minds. Anime fans are also in for a treat. The long-awaited live-action manga and anime YuYu Hakusho was released last December, and now, three months later, the first two seasons of the cult anime are available on Netflix. Of course, it has long been available on other platforms like Crunchyroll and Funimation, but Netflix users can now check it out on this service as well.

Each of the aforementioned (and unmentioned) releases is a thoroughly entertaining project worthy of attention, as evidenced by the high ratings of some of the new releases. Bandidos, for example, has made it into the top 10 most-watched series in many countries, including the United States. Queen of Tears is no less successful, entering the global top 10 of all non-English series within days of its release.
