Not every star has millions of followers on Instagram. Or Instagram itself.

Caitlin? What Caitlin? Well, only the most devoted fans of NCIS remember that in the first two seasons, one of the main characters of the series was Caitlin Todd, played by Sasha Alexander, a former employee of the Secret Service.

Although it was difficult to find fault with Alexander, her replacement, former Mossad agent Ziva David, played by Cote de Pablo, quickly erased the memory of Caitlin from viewers' minds. With an intriguing backstory, dramatic storylines, and a charming accent, Ziva was the perfect character for a show like NCIS.

NCIS: Tony & Ziva Coming to Small Screens in 2024

David left the project in Season 11, leaving a hole in the hearts of fans who had grown accustomed to her over the years. But recently, fans were delighted with the shocking news — Ziva David is returning, and not alone, but with Anthony DiNozzo. A new spin-off called NCIS: Tony & Ziva is expected to be released in the second half of 2024.

The plot is about Tony and Ziva raising their daughter in Paris. However, Tony's company is attacked and the family ends up on the run across Europe trying to figure out who is after them.

Why Isn't Cote de Pablo on Social Media?

While the actor who plays Tony, Michael Weatherly, shares news from the set on his social media, fans are wondering what is going on in the life of Cote de Pablo — because the actress is one of the rare stars who is not on social media at all. And in a recent interview, the actress answered why:

“One of my really good friends said 'Why are you not on social media?' And I said I'm not saying no to it, [...] but when I'm having fun I'm not taking pictures of myself. [...] I'm an incredibly private person.”

And that is something we could learn from, folks.

Either way, we will soon see Cote de Pablo back on the small screen, once again playing the role beloved by millions as Ziva David.

The spin-off does not yet have an exact release date, nor is there any news on whether anyone from the main series will appear in the new project (we hope so), so we can only wait for official news from Paramount+, where the show will be released.
