NCIS Fans Already Have a Perfect Cast for Tali in Tony & Ziva Spinoff
And this is the daughter of one of the biggest stars of the 90s.
Where else besides NCIS can you see a goth forensic scientist talking to his instruments; a pathologist talking to his patients; and a former Mossad agent who can kill you with a teaspoon? That's right, nowhere.
Vivid and well-developed characters have become the main ingredient in the formula for success of NCIS, which has already become a full-fledged franchise and will soon get another show.
Tony and Ziva Spin-Off is On Its Way
The news that Tony and Ziva will soon return to the small screen has not left any NCIS fan indifferent, and this is not surprising – Tony and Ziva both have been the main favorites of viewers for many years.
Michael Weatherly, who played Tony DiNozzo from the beginning of the show, left the project after Season 13 for the most understandable reasons – the actor was tired of playing the same character for so many years, and he also lacked the on-screen chemistry he created with Cote de Pablo, who played Ziva David.

Cote de Pablo left NCIS in Season 11, and according to the actress herself, part of the reason was the direction the writers wanted to take her character. Viewers loved Ziva because she was a great representation of a strong and determined woman, but according to Cote, in the future, Ziva would have to return to Israel and lose those qualities. The actress disagreed with this decision and decided to leave the show.
However, Ziva returned in Season 17 and reunited with her partner Tony and their daughter Tali to the delight of many fans.
Now Tony and Ziva are getting their own spin-off titled NCIS: Tony & Ziva (obviously). There is no exact release date yet, but filming is already underway and the first season is scheduled for the second half of 2024 on Paramount+.
Matt LeBlanc 's Daughter is the Perfect Cast for Tali
It is not yet known who from the original NCIS cast will appear in the future spin-off, or if they will appear at all, but fans have already found the perfect cast for the role of Tony and Ziva's daughter, Tali. And that is Friends' star Matt LeBlanc's daughter, Marina Pearl LeBlanc.
And yes, she looks just like Cote de Pablo's younger version. Reddit user dharavsolanki even wrote:
“I glimpsed at the picture and my first thought was.... Is that Ziva?”
Although Marina bears a striking resemblance to Cote, she would hardly have gotten the role of Tali. First, Marina is 20 years old, and Ziva and Tony's daughter is supposed to be 11-12 years old according to the plot. Second, Marina has no acting experience, her passion is music, as her father Matt LeBlanc said.
But we can dream, right?
