Ms Marvel's Death in Comics Can Very Much Be Bad News For The Marvels For a Simple Reason
Is Ms. Marvel going to shuffle off this mortal coil in the upcoming MCU movie?
In 2014, Marvel comics introduced the new Ms. Marvel.
Kamala Khan, a teenager of Pakistani-American descent hailing from New Jersey, acquired her superhuman abilities when exposed to the Terrigen Mist, which activated her latent Inhuman genes.
Ms. Marvel has become a popular and influential character given she is Marvel's first Muslim superhero.
She has been featured in her own solo comic series, and in recent years, she has made appearances in animated TV shows, video games, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe, where she made her live-action debut in the Disney Plus series Ms. Marvel, and was portrayed by Iman Vellani.
Her next appearance, this time on the big screen, will be in The Marvels, set to release on November 10, 2023.
However, some recent news might not sound promising for the young MCU 's superhero. It was revealed that in the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man #26 comic book, written by Zeb Wells, Kamala will die.
Kamala Khan has been a crucial figure in Wells' tenure on Amazing Spider-Man, as well as other Marvel Comics stories.
In addition to forming friendships and connections in her own series and during her time as an Avenger, Kamala has emerged as one of the prominent heroes in New York City.
Now, an interesting fact is that Zeb Wells, besides being the writer of the comic book we have mentioned, is also one of the writers of the upcoming The Marvels movie.
This fact made fans nervously wonder if Marvel is going to kill Ms. Marvel in the upcoming MCU movie.
If so, it will be extremely heartbreaking for many fans, as well as it will be unexpected, as the trailer of the movie set the humorous and entertaining tone for the film.
But many fans feel positive about Ms. Marvel's future in the MCU. In their opinion, what happens in the comics doesn't normally define what happens in the Cinematic Universe.
In addition, Marvel might have a plan of resurrecting the character in the comics — after all, nothing is impossible in this universe.
