Young And The Restless fans were so sick of Devon that they sighed with relief when someone finally stood up and put him in his place.

The new episode of the show was actually hot because little whiny Devon finally had to take responsibility for the things he had done. And who could better help him realize that and then make him face the consequences? Of course, Amanda!

Initially, Devon's character was created to be this good boy, but as the series progressed, he became something else because there is no denying that he has done a lot of terrible things to different people.

One of those people is Amanda. So she decided it was her turn to make him suffer. And the fans really liked it.

"I hate Devon. Like despise him ever since the sh*t he pulled with Dom, I like that she left him speechless because everything she said was so dead on accurate he couldn't even have a rebuttal without making (even more) of a fool of himself," Reddit user Rude_Butterfly_4210 said.

Fans claim that it was so satisfying to see the constantly whining Devon finally realize how terrible his actions were and how many people he had wronged.

Remember the frustrating scene in one of the last episodes when Chance and Amanda caught him on the living room sofa with Abby in a shocking turn of events?

Yes, it was high time for Davon to be reminded of his actions and get what he deserved.

But while most fans are grateful that Amanda finally stood up for herself, there are still some who don't want to see this duo's behavior become a regular occurrence.

"I can't keep hearing from her for weeks! Plus, it would be out of character for Devon to let Amanda continually berate him.

It would also be contrary to the tongue lashing she gave him today. Amanda said she didn't want to highlight all of his flaws because it only reminded her of how he hurt her," Reddit user DiscombobulatedJob49 said.

Well, maybe Amanda's speech will somehow affect his behavior in the future? That we can only hope for.
