Most Anticipated Andor Season 2 Characters, Ranked
With the show's second season just around the corner, fans are betting on which of these Star Wars characters will make an appearance, and some have already been confirmed.
When the Star Wars: Andor TV series was announced, many fans wondered why anyone would be interested in a spinoff of a spinoff about a character we already know is going to die.
So it was a complete surprise when they got one of, if not the best Star Wars creation in many years, with its compelling story and deep characters.
And now, with the second and (sadly) final season on its way to release in August 2024, fans can't wait to see their favorite characters again, and are betting on which familiar faces might make an appearance.
Here are five of the most popular requests.
5. Bail Organa
Mon Mothma, portrayed by Genevieve O'Reilly, was a huge part of the season 1 story, so fans would love to see another founding member of the Rebel Alliance.
Jimmy Smits has already reprised his role for the Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series, and it would be great to see the father of the rebellion again.
4. Galen Erso
Mads Mikkelsen is a brilliant actor, and it was almost criminal how little of him was shown in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Considering that the season 1 finale showed us that the inmates of Narkina 5 were creating details for the first Death Star, an appearance by the project's chief scientist, even as a cameo, won't feel out of place.
3. Orson Krennic
For the above reasons, and the fact that Ben Mendelsohn recently reprised his role for a brief appearance in the second season of the animated series The Bad Batch, the original commander of the Death Star might also make an appearance.
After all, he is a member of the Imperial Security Bureau, which was a big part of the show's first season.
2. K-2SO
The reprogrammed KX-Series security droid portrayed by Alan Tudyk was one of the most fan-favorite characters from Rogue One, and he has been confirmed to appear in season 2.
We already saw more of his kind in the first season of the series, particularly when Cassian was arrested on Niamos, so it would be interesting to see the beginning of their relationship given their previous hostile encounter.
1. Kino Loy
Andy Serkis' leader of the prison work crew came out of nowhere and immediately became one of the best characters in the entire series.
The last time we saw Kino was when he was left behind during the prison break, and it was recently confirmed that Serkis will be returning for the show's second season.
