Millie Bobby Brown Scared to Return to Stranger Things For an Unlikely Reason
As if the show was not already scary enough.
Stranger Things star Milly Bobby Brown is afraid that she might have a hard time returning to set of the Netflix horror hit after filming Enola Holmes 2.
In the Sherlock Holmes spinoff, Bobby Brown portrays the titular character, whose signature move is ruining the fourth wall. This is why the actress appears to have gotten used to constantly looking at the camera — something that will not be suitable in Stranger Things.
"While filming, I had a dream that I was on the set of 'Stranger Things,' and I couldn't stop looking at the camera," Bobby Brown revealed at a Q&A at film's New York premiere. "And now, I have this deep-rooted fear that now I will never stop looking at the camera. So now, I'm so obsessed with it."
Enola Holmes is a movie franchise that follows Sherlock Holmes' lesser-known teenage sister, based on the young adult fiction series of the same name by Nancy Springer.
Like her more famous brother, Enola is incredibly intelligent and observant, having learned a lot from her mother Eudoria. However, one day on her birthday, Sherlock's sister wakes up to discover that her mother has disappeared. The first movie follows her journey to finding her purpose in being a detective — and, of course, meeting her famous brothers, Sherlock and Mycroft.
This Stranger Things' Forgotten Storyline Deserved More Recognition
After the 2020 premiere of the first film, the sequel, once again led by the Stranger Things star, arrives on Netflix on November 4.
Meanwhile, Stranger Things is heading into its fifth and final season, even though the premiere date remains to be scheduled. The writing is already underway, but the exact time when Bobby Brown will have to return on set and make sure she does not look in the camera is unknown.
