Marvelously Audacious: Did Mrs. Maisel Season 5 Really Lose Its Regular?

She gathers audiences, tells somewhat inappropriate jokes, but most importantly, she shows the people around her that a woman is not just an adjunct to her man – something the then prudish society is not ready to accept.

But Midge perseveres and keeps on going down (or rather up) the path of success. Season five was unusually announced more than a year ago, even before season 4 was released.

Right away, it was said to be the last one which meant that the show's producer were ready to put a period in the story of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

From what we know, this final season of the series is going to show us the beloved comedienne as near to succeed as to learn success was never so far away.

A good gist of story that is about to end but doesn't have to. The end must be left open, but this will be, just like with any other good piece, a new chapter of a whole different story we don't really have to know.

Anyway, season 5 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will have our beloved characters in place. All but one portrayed by Luke Kirby, who managed to enter the main cast of season 4.

Little information do we have, considering why he is said to be out, the possibilities of him being a guest-star on the show this season, or whatever is going to be with his personage.

In all candor, it is a bold move to progress without a regular, but who knows what tricks the show and its creators have up their sleeves. As of now, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has been a well-written series with no major holes in its plot.

It is unlikely that there will be left any.

So will we, but for now we'll yet have to see a full trailer for season 5, scheduled for April, 14th. It will definitely cast more light on the last season of the beloved and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and the disappearance of its regular from the cast.
