San Diego Comic-Con is just around the corner, and it looks like Kevin Feige is ready to present the next chapter of MCU history.

With the Marvel Cinematic Universe getting bigger and bigger every year, fans are starting to wonder when Kevin Feige and his creative team will run out of stock of characters and storylines from the original comics. But that doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon, as this year alone the MCU has welcomed a host of interesting new characters into its family, including Kamala Khan, America Chavez and Moon Knight. And besides all that, Feige still has a major ace up his sleeve, X-Men.

Yes, you got that right. After it was revealed in the 'Ms. Marvel' finale that Kamala is actually a mutant, the wait for the iconic mutant team led by Charles Xavier to debut in the MCU has officially begun. And it looks like it won't be long, as a scoop posted on Reddit suggests that the X-Men movie will be unveiled at Comic-Con this year.

Rumor has it that the film will star two prominent actors, Giancarlo Esposito as Xavier and Glenn Powell as Cyclops. Of course, people have taken this news with a grain of salt, arguing that it's too early to announce a solo mutant movie, but everyone agrees on one thing – Esposito as the genius mutant is a pitch-perfect casting decision.

"Giancarlo is an interesting angle, not because of race, but because I've only seen him play the mastermind villain. I'm curious to see how Xavier will be." – /RonSwansonsGun.

Powell as Cyclops also deserves a round of applause, as fans are confident that the star of 'Top Gun: Maverick' will do a fine job as Scott Summers.

"Wow Glenn Powell as Scott Summers. That's perfect. Please make his costume like the 93 animated series and were golden." – /KrazeeCraves.
