Mark Ruffalo Is Ready To Save The Thor Franchise
If there will be anything to save at all.
There are many opinions regarding the Thor franchise.
Some argue it's getting too long and needs to be put to an end, others enjoy seeing the character growth and development.
Not only fans are sharing their thoughts: recently the CEO of Disney Bob Iger argued that there's not much need for 3rd and 4th movies for some older characters when they have more than enough fresh ones yet to introduce.
Thor, being the only original Avenger who's not stepped off the solo movies, and already got 4 of them, is now under fire.
The future of the movie is uncertain as there is no official release date or even confirmation of it being in the works.
Although fans caught some hints and teases here and there, with no official statements everything can be turned around easily.
Especially considering the fact that Thor: Love and Thunder released in 2022 did not show the best performance.
No other than Mark Ruffalo, portraying Thor's fellow Avengers teammate, The Hulk, seems to have the answer on how to save the franchise. According to him, the answer is… to bring the Hulk back!
"I have a soft spot for Chris Hemsworth. So, I keep waiting for them to invite me back to the Thor franchise to save it," he joked, answering the Emerald City Comic-Con question about who he'd like to do a buddy-cop movie with.
In spite of the actor's worry about being canceled because of this joke, the fans are actually all for seeing Hulk helping Thor again.
The third part of the franchise that Mark Ruffalo actually took part in, Thor: Ragnarok, has quickly become a fan-favorite, so no one is opposed to the idea.
However, a lot of Marvel stans even argue that they would much rather get Hulk a solo movie he deserves than see his cameo in other franchises.
Hopefully, the fans will get what they're looking for, and the upcoming Phase 5 will not be a disappointment.
