'Love, Death and Robots' to Return With Season 3, And Fans Are Losing It
Season 2 of the animated horror for adults was rolled out in May 2021, enjoying a pretty solid 81% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
Everyone's beloved horror series 'Love, Death and Robots ' is coming back with season 3 on May 20, with Netflix dropping a trailer and immediately causing waves on Twitter.
For those who are yet to check the anthology out: 'Love, Death and Robots' is a series consisting of stand-alone episodes, each of which are made by separate casts and crews. Every episode is in a certain way connected with one of the three main themes stated in the series' name.
The series was warmly welcomed by the viewers and the critics, and now the animated horror series is back on track to inject some love, death and robots back on our streaming platforms.
And it looks like fans are more than ready for that.
Many, however, begged the creators to not let Volume 3 be "another short one", demanding more episodes – and more seasons.
Some particularly noted that they expect season 3 to be better than the previous installment, as many fans were disappointed with it, especially comparing it to season 1.
Season one, containing 18 episodes, streamed on Netflix in 2019, with many critics quickly labeling the show as an animated version of 'Black Mirror '. In 2020, the anthology garnered a great deal of Annie Awards for Animated Effects, Music, Production Design and Editorial. Volume II premiered in May 2021, but was shortened to only 8 episodes.
