Adam Driver was rumored to be the top choice for the role of Mr. Fantastic in the upcoming Marvel film, Fantastic Four. However, it seems like Driver might not be donning the superhero suit after all.
According to the report by Jeff Sneider on John Rocha’s podcast, Driver was indeed offered the role of Mr. Fantastic, but he turned it down.
He reportedly couldn't connect with the character. The script, it seems, didn't resonate with him, leading to his decision to pass on the role.
Previously, Jeff Sneider reported that Driver “may have priced himself out.”
The Fantastic Four reboot has been a topic of speculation among fans for quite some time. The film is expected to kick off phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with a release date set for May 2, 2025.
